In Global NCAP Tests,Mahindra compact SUV XUV300 was awarded 5 stars for adult occupant safety and 4 stars for child occupant safety in a crash test conducted by Global NCAP. The overall score beats scores of Tata Nexon and Altroz.
This is third vehicle by Indian manufacturer which is scoring 5 star rating in crash test after Tata Nexon and Tata Altroz. XUV300 has scored the highest points of all the cars tested by Global NCAP to date. XUV300 scored on adult occupant protection (16.42 out of a potential 17), as well as child occupant protection (37.44 out of a potential 49). Whereas, Altroz scored 16.13 points on adult occupant protection and 29 points on child occupant protection.
